WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN?

Check in time is 4:00 pm onwards. Early check-in can be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Please contact the Front Desk.


WHAT TIME IS CHECK-OUT?

Check-out time is 11:00 am.


CAN I ARRANGE TO CHECK OUT AFTER 11:00 AM?

Yes, but late check outs are subject to availability and you must arrange a late check out on morning of your check out date. There are also costs associated with late check outs:

  • Check-out between 11:00 am – 3:00 pm: Cost is $20.00 per hour plus 12% applicable room taxes.

  • Check-out between 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm: 1/2 the nightly room rental plus 12% applicable room taxes.

  • Check-out after 5:00 pm: Full nightly room rental plus 12% applicable room taxes.

Late check-out may not be available during June – September due to high occupancy levels.


CAN I request for room upgrade?

Yes, but room upgrades are subject to availability and you must arrange upgrade in advance or at check-in. There are also costs associated with room upgrades, please contact the Front Desk if you need more information. Upgrade may not be available during June – September due to high occupancy levels.


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

The Cancellation Policy for accommodations reserved during the peak season from Canada Day to Labour Day inclusive is 14 days prior to the arrival date. The Cancellation policy for accommodations booked outside of the peak season is 72 hours prior to the arrival date. If a cancellation is made after the allotted cancellation time, the one nights’ deposit paid at the time of  booking will not be returned; if no deposit was taken then a one nights’ room charge plus tax will be charged to the credit card on file.

What does HSEF on my confirmation mean?

HSEF is the Hotel Services and Environmental Fee and is part of Bellstar’s Stay® | Well program.  We hope to inspire guests to become active and truly experience our destinations and at the same time give back to the environment by offering a wide variety of activities and services, including unlimited access to the paperless newsstand, PressReader, outdoor activity programming, and a variety of seasonal gear to enable all guests to get out and enjoy the area. Included in this fee is a contribution to Bellstar’s Stay® | Green program, which supports local eco-friendly initiatives. For more information, please visit bellstar.ca/green.

Why did we start to charge the HSEF?

There were amenities that many of our guests consistently requested to enhance their stay with us. We are pleased to now be able to provide all our guests with many of these upgrades and services for a nominal fee.

What if a guest doesn’t use all of the things included in the Resort Fee, do they still have to pay?

Yes. This is a standard fee, guests are welcome to use all or none of the items included but the fee remains the same.

How do guests access the Stay® | Well amenities?

Program information, activity lists, and PressReader access are provided upon guest check-in.

What is PressReader?

PressReader is an all-you-can-read digital newsstand with thousands of the world’s most popular newspapers and magazines.


DOES THE GRANDE ROCKIES RESORT CHARGE A DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING?

Yes. The Grande Rockies Resort charge a minimum deposit of two nights’ accommodation including taxes and hotel service fee during the peak season from June – September and minimum one night from October-May. When booking a resort package a larger deposit may be required at the time of booking depending on type of package. When booking a resort promotions such as advance purchase, total estimated cost will be charge excluding hotel service fee.


Is a damage deposit required at check in?

A $250 damage deposit is required at time of check in. Only a valid credit card is required for check in. The credit card will be authorized for the full amount of the stay, plus $250 damage deposit. Authorizations are released within 3 business days of departure. No cash or debit payments will be accepted towards the damage deposit.


DO YOU HAVE FREE PARKING?

Yes. We have underground parking for vehicles 6'6" and under. The parking is free for one vehicle per unit. Free over-sized vehicle parking is available on our surface parking lot.


DO YOU HAVE SMOKING ROOMS?

No. The Grande Rockies Resort is 100% non smoking environment. This includes guest rooms and common areas.


DOES THE GRANDE ROCKIES RESORT ALLOW PETS?

Unfortunately the Grande Rockies Resort does not allow pets. Please contact the Front Desk if you need information on local kennels for your pet.


DO YOU OFFER FREE WI-FI?

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest room and meeting room facilities.


DO YOU OFFER COTS?

No, unfortunately the Grande Rockies Resort does not provide cots.


DO YOU OFFER PLAYPENS?

Yes. The Grande Rockies Resort does have playpens available. But, please request at time of reservation as there are a limited number available. There is no cost for a playpen.


CAN I barbecue AT THE GRANDE ROCKIES?

Yes. Suites in our Main Building are equipped with barbecues. Our Annex Building guest rooms do not have barbecues.
